Mohit Kumar x SNITCH: Bringing Kolkataโs Newest Fashion Destination to Life
Kolkata is getting a new fashion destination, and Mohit Kumar is helping build the buzz around it.
Before the store was revealed, Kolkata had to guess what was coming.
When a new fashion brand enters a city like Kolkata, simply announcing a store opening is no longer enough. The launch needs anticipation, curiosity and a reason for people to stop, look and wonder.
SNITCH began building that anticipation with a series of striking black hoardings across the city carrying a deceptively simple message:
Turning the outdoor hype into a digital story.
The hoardings had already started a conversation across Kolkata. The next step was to take that curiosity from the streets to social media.
For Mohit Kumar, the idea was not to simply announce that SNITCH was opening a store in Kolkata. The content needed to feel like a natural extension of the campaign already taking place across the city.
So we built the story around the same question that the hoardings were asking: what exactly is coming?
Mohit becomes the person who tries to solve the mystery. The content starts with the hoarding, builds curiosity around the blank space, and then transitions into the reveal โ SNITCH is finally coming to Kolkata.
The hoardings created the question. Mohit helped deliver the answer.
More than a store launch. A fashion moment for Kolkata.
At the centre of the campaign is Mohit Kumar โ fashion model, content creator and a familiar face within Kolkataโs fashion and lifestyle space.
Personality
The content was built around Mohit rather than treating him as simply a presenter. His personality gives the campaign a natural entry point into the conversation already happening across Kolkata.
Fashion
With a strong background in fashion and modelling, Mohit brings SNITCHโs clothing to life through a series of fast-paced outfit transitions designed for the visual language of social media.
Storytelling
Instead of starting with a traditional brand announcement, the content begins with the mystery surrounding the hoardings and gradually takes the viewer towards the store reveal.
The objective was simple:
Make people curious enough to stop, watch and discover what was coming.
Kolkata, SNITCH is here.

What began as a series of mysterious black hoardings across Kolkata evolved into a creator-led fashion story designed to take that curiosity from the streets to social media.
With Mohit Kumar at the centre of the content, the campaign brings together the things that make a fashion launch work in today’s digital landscape โ a strong visual identity, a sense of discovery, personality and fashion that people can actually see themselves in.
The result is more than an announcement. It is a launch designed to become part of the city’s fashion conversation.
