A creator-led approach to product launches

Product launches in Kolkata need more than a product announcement. The creative has to translate a brand’s message into an experience people understand quickly: a reason to pay attention, a clear view of what is being launched and a credible next step. Mohit Kumar collaborates with brands and agencies on Kolkata-based promotions, retail experiences and national digital campaigns.

This page explains the promotion formats and campaign workflow. To make an enquiry, use the Collaborate page; to review past work, open the campaign portfolio.

  • Fashion and seasonal promotions: multiple looks, fit and fabric details, themed storytelling and collection-focused Reels.
  • Automotive and experiential content: first impressions, product features and experience-led storytelling based on an approved brief.
  • Events and appearances: creator attendance and coverage scoped around defined deliverables.
  • Brand-owned content: videos and photographs delivered for agreed web, organic-social or advertising usage.

A typical collaboration workflow

1. Define the commercial objective

Clarify whether the campaign is intended to build awareness, drive visits, introduce a collection, explain a product or support an event. Decide what viewers should understand or do after watching.

2. Agree on the creative and scope

Lock deliverables, language, duration, platform, filming location, product shots, approval windows, dates, rights, potential amplification and disclosure responsibilities before the shoot.

3. Produce and review

Use the approved script or shot plan as the baseline. Capture the hero product, secondary details, creator interactions and CTA so that the edit remains commercially usable as well as visually engaging.

4. Publish, amplify and evaluate

Agree which metrics matter for the objective: views, meaningful engagement, completion, enquiries, visits or tracked actions. When amplification or partnership ads are part of the plan, scope those rights separately.

Disclosure and transparent partnerships

Brand collaborations in India need clear advertising disclosures where a material connection exists, including paid or barter arrangements. See the Advertising Standards Council of India’s influencer guidance for current requirements. Product claims should be verified with the brand before publication.
